BHSA MENTORS

Mentors are a huge part of our organization and are incredible people who dedicate their time and effort to help guide individuals along their journey in achieving success. Mentors are a important source of support, understanding, guidance, and play a vital role for anyone who works with them. Mentors are special people who have a lot of experience and knowledge in their field and are passionate about helping others. They work hard to make a difference in the lives of the people they mentor and they are always there to offer support. 

BHSA is seeking mentors with experience in the field of behavioral health to serve as mentors for our apprentices. Mentors will provide guidance and support to apprentices as they learn and develop their skills in the field of behavioral health. 

All mentors applying for our program must meet the following requirements:

-Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a mental health or human services field

-Excellent communication/interpersonal skills.

-Have experience providing clinical supervision or mentorship 

-Have strong clinical skills and knowledge of the behavioral health sector

-The ability to provide guidance and support to apprentices

-Be able to provide helpful feedback and constructive criticism

-Be available to answer questions and help apprentices when needed
